Hey guys, take time out to write your representatives in congress. It seems the FDA has new guidelines to try and "regulate" homeopathic health, like labeling vitamins and juices as "drugs" and things like acupuncture needles and massage stones as "medical devices." this means that if you are growing basic herbs in your garden, you could be arrested for "drug dealing."

Please write your representatives! Be sure to cite "Docket No. 2006D-0480. Draft Guidance for Industry on Complementary and Alternative Medicine Products and Their Regulation by the Food and Drug Administration."

i lost a very dear person last night at one a.m. she was like an adopted grandmother. she's baked all my birthday cakes except for this past year.

i KNOW for a fact that because she had prayed for me as a little girl, i've turned out the way that i have. she loved God in a way i may never know.

i loved her. i miss her. i feel so terribly alone.

at work we have these automatic toilets. sometimes they don't really go off automatically, so i do kind of a booty-dance so the laser thing sees me and flushes. so yesterday, i went to a different bathroom, and got up and started my booty dance, and then i looked back and realized they weren't automatic flush.

ew. i also had my first pervy phonecall. unfortunately, i wrote down the wrong information and couldn't report him, but i'll know what to do next time! you could hear porn playing in the background.. ::shudders::

Globophobia- Fear of balloons.

Ligyrophobia- Fear of loud noises.

ok ok, i'm not kidding. matt will testify to this. being around latex balloons makes me very very nervous/anxious. mylar balloons don't really have this effect on me. it's not severe, but i freak out. ESPECIALLY the balloon yo-yo things. kids walk around the mall with those and it makes me want to walk far away. i hate the popping. i hate the potential they have of popping. they could pop at any second! gah! i hate loud, sudden noises. if i'm watching a movie, and i know something is going to pop out or a gun will be shot, i plug my ears. i was the only person in the whole theater to actually yell out when captain jack sparrow got surprised by the native in pirates of the carribean II. this past saturday, we went to a "baby shower"/welcoming party. there were all kinds of balloons + kids which usually means trouble. one of the kids let one go and the string got caught in the ceiling fan! OH MY GOSH i was soo uncomfortable/anxious/creeped out by that. i couldnt help watch it go around and around, it would make that awful squicky noise, and i knew it was going to pop any second! luckily we left in time. crazy!

i just joined youtube.. this is a video i made in class last year. the assignment was to create a music video where you create the soundtrack from collected sounds. it's about a girl who waits for a telephone, daydreaming about the things she could be doing(instead of waiting). i'm pretty happy with it:
